RetroDuck.com - About Our Company

RetroDuck is located at 210 Abbot Road, Suite 22, in East Lansing, Michigan.  You can reach us by telephone at 1-866-53-QUACK.

RetroDuck History

RetroDuck was originally conceived as a website housing thousands of iron-on transfers we acquired in 2003 from warehouses on the East Coast.

Since then, we have expanded to original designs created by ourselves with lots of input from close friends. We wanted to make shirts that we would wear  - and hoped that the public would enjoy wearing them as well.

As time went on, we kept our doors open at our office in East Lansing, MI (on the edge of campus at Michigan State University) and people began asking us if we could make shirts for them. We are now a full-scale custom apparel operation as well. We ship t-shirts all over the world every week.

Since our original acquisition of vintage iron-ons, we have amassed a collection of over 400,000 transfers.  We have good reason to believe that this is the largest collection in existence.  We have priced our vintage transfers accordingly, based upon availability.

Please take a look around our website to view our privacy policy, and t-shirt information page to learn more about us.

If you have any more questions, please don't hesitate to contact us.

Have a lovely day.

Sean MADAY
Founder

Sean founded RetroDuck.com, Inc. from his dorm in Mayo Hall at Michigan State University in 2003. Since then, he has served as an Intelligence Officer in the United States Air Force and he now makes magic with Google Earth in Colorado Springs.

Adam VAN LENTE
President

Adam Van Lente has the voice of an angel. He is also an excellent member of his community, serving on the Board for East Lansing's Rotary Club. He enjoys reading, running, playing music, his dogs and listening to his heart.

Luke HACKNEY
Chief Creative Officer / GZA

Luke is a frequent book collector and occasional reader. He has written for the Lansing City Pulse, Metro Times, Real Detroit and McSweeny's. He can be found in Twitter Wit from HarperCollins, but only if you look really, really hard.

Arun DAS
Public Image / SEO

Arun Das does Ad Ops for a little startup in Chicago.  Maybe you've heard of Facebook.com.  He has been a member of Team RetroDuck since Day One, when he attended school at MSU. As a direct result of the latter, he has a medical condition which causes him to bleed green and white.
Dustin GRIMES
Graphic Design / Customer Care

Dustin basically takes care of business at the Duck every day. If he's not designing some sweet tees, he's making sure promises are kept and deadlines are made. When he's not at the Duck, you can find him daydreaming about sailing the world and probably reading about Physics.
Eric CHESTNUT
Man About Town

Eric is our print shop assistant and a Hell of a dancer. He enjoys throwing darts, beer pong balls and insults in his spare time.
Hannah JOHNSON
Hype Girl

When she isn't getting her Masters Degree from Michigan State in school and community counseling, Hannah models and does promotional work. She does that stuff for us, too. She also goes to karaoke nights and listens to Miley Cyrus and is cute as a button.

John WALKER
Photos / Art / Wisdom

Johnny Walker is our principal photographer and does graphic design. Like Adam, he too plays a handful of instruments, and can often be found in a coat made personally for him by the Amish (pictured).
Jessica ROBRAHN
Super Model

Jessica models for various companies and is always nice enough to lend her services to us as well. When she isn't doing that, she can be found tending bar and attending classes.
Jennifer WRAY
Friendly Acquaintance

Miss Wray is currently getting her PhD in Sociology and is somehow under the impression that Saved by The Bell was considered an edgy program in its day.
Atticus
Chief Growling Officer

We keep telling him otherwise, but Atticus keeps insisting that his job is to growl and nap. He likes listening to AC/DC and wants to know why old photos are in black and white.
Philly
Head of Adorable Department

Philly enjoys sleeping, begging for food, listening to people play guitar and sleeping. She doesn't enjoy baths, being awake or modeling t-shirts.
Scout
Collections

'Lil Scout is the youngest employee here at the Duck. Even by dog years she's still a minor. Please don't tell the Feds.
Bernard Crimshaw
Attorney at Law (RetroDuck Legal Strategist)

Bernard, who goes by Bernie, was a trial lawyer for many years. He has since retired to Colorado Springs, where he helps advise Sean on the strategic vision of the company (to date, none of his advice has been heeded).
Max
Security Specialist

Max outweighs all of the other dogs on the RetroDuck.com staff, but is coincidentally scared of them all. He is a Colorado native who loves tennis balls.
Paisley
Squirrel Eradication Professional

Paisley telecommutes to RetroDuck from Colorado Springs, and is in charge of reviewing all orders for squirrel related fraud.
